Research field
Development of the scientific bases of the technology intended to control the rheological properties of high-viscosity and high-pour crude oils;
Developments of the compositions intended to improve the depressant properties and hydrodynamic characteristics of high-viscosity and high-pour crude oils, compositions for the purification of oil-gas collecting equipment and pipelines from the deposits of asphalts, resins and paraffins;
Physical chemistry of boundary interactions in the processes of secondary hydrocarbon raw material regeneration.
Main achievements:
The relationship between the structure-formation processes in oil disperse systems and the nature of anomalies of the rheological properties of high-viscosity crude oils has been established;
The relationship between the reactivity of oil acceptors of peroxide radicals and transformations of supermolecular structures of oil dispersed systems has been established;
A high-sensitive automated gas-meter installation for measurement and calculations of kinetic parameters of oil acceptors of peroxide radicals representing a complete set of equipment and computer software has been developed;
The compositions intended for the purification of oil-gas equipment and pipelines from the deposits of asphalts, resins and paraffins have been developed. The compositions allow one to separate oil emulsions containing asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits into 2 phases: oily and aqueous ones without additional heating and mixing, then reintroduce them into the process.
The Laboratory numbers 11 employees, including 1 Professor and 6 Doctors of Sciences.
