GIS-technologies INTENDED for the environmental protection in the oil-gas industry |
||
The Scientific Research Information Centre of the Institute is engaged in the development and application of geoinformation systems (GIS) and GIS-technologies to assess and forecast the environmental state within the zones of activity of the oil-gas industry enterprises. The aim is to determine the lines of the environment protection and to elaborate the recommendations for selection of the purification technologies for above enterprises.
There has been developed a computer complex for the analysis and forecast of the environmental state allowing one to solve the following problems using GIS-technologies:
to reveal the territorial zones of pollution;
to forecast the dynamics of changes in the limits of the pollution zone using the scenarios of economical development of enterprises;
to select the environmentally appropriate technologies of the nature protection based on the environment state analysis by computer means.
Forecast of the increase in the area of the air pollution produced by the associated das combustion in flames depending on the enhancement in the oil production volumes | |
Illustration of the results of the simulation of treatment of sewage disposed into rivers in the oil-producing regions |
