‘VIOL’, an additive capable to reduce the hydraulic pressure by 20% when introduced into the turbulent oil flow at the concentration of 70 g/m3 has been developed.
‘VIOL’ is of a hydrocarbon nature and has no effect on the quality of oil and petroleum products. It is produced as a 10% polymer solution in gasoline.
The additive application allows one
‘VIOL’ advantages:
‘VIOL’ additive has been developed by the Institute of Petroleum Chemistry, SB RAS, in co-operation with the Tomsk Polytechnic University.
The development is protected by RF patent N 2075485.
The technology of the additive application has been approved during the tests on the pipelines ‘Alexandrovskoye – Anjero-Sudjensk’ and ‘Tikhoretsk – Novorossiysk’.
The additive is produced by the Tomsk Petrochemical Plant.
