Method for cleaning the oil field equipment from deposits of asphalts, resins, paraffins

A composition and a chemical method for cleaning the tanks, pipe-lines, and other oil field equipment from deposits of asphalts, resins, paraffins, and water have been developed.

Method essence: when injecting the composition into a tank, heat is released, deposits are melted and liquefied, water is separated. To remove deposits from a pipeline, it is suggested to use the above composition in the combination with polymer gels.

Deposits of asphalts, resins, and paraffins before the reaction Thermochemical reaction with deposits of asphalts, resins, and paraffins Settling of the deposits upon thermochemical reaction
1. Metal plate with asphalts, resins, and paraffins deposited

2. Metal plate after the thermochemical reaction with deposits of asphalts, resins, and paraffins

Discharge: 7-10% of the composition per deposit weight.
