IKHN-KA SYSTEMS FOR EOR OF LOW-PERMEABLE RESERVOIRS WITH HIGH RESERVOIR TEMPERATURES

A concept has been developed to use the reservoir energy to generate an effective oil displacing system in situ. Oil displacing IKHN-KA systems have been created to form CO2 and alkaline buffer system under the reservoir conditions due to high reservoir temperature or heat effect. IKHN-KA systems are compatible with reservoir brines. They increase the efficiency of oil displacement from low-permeable reservoirs in oil fields of West Siberia by 15-22%. The systems are easily producible and ecologically safe. All the components employed are the products of large-scale national industry.

The technology of physico-chemical treatment of reservoirs by IKHN-KA systems allows one to combine the advantages flooding performed by alkaline solutions and surfactants with CO2 effect. Pilot tests carried out in oil fields of West Siberia have revealed technological and economical efficiencies of IKHN-KA systems.

The technology allows one to produce 20-40 tons of oil in addition per 1 ton of the injected IKHN-KA systems.
