A. Oil and Gas Chemistry. Oil dispersed systems. Natural bitumens and oil shales - nonconventional hydrocarbon sources: resources, distribution in stratigraphic complexes, compositional and structural features. Regularities in distributions of hydrocarbon, heteroatomic and high-molecular compounds in oils, gas condensates and organic matter of rocks. New methods intended to study oils, composition and structure of oil components.
B. Enhanced Oil-and-Gas Recovery, Treatment and Transportation of Oil and Gas. Physicochemical and microbiological methods intended to improve oil, gas and condensate recovery; the effect of EOR methods on composition of the recovered oil; novel technologies used to treat bottom-hole zones of oil and gas wells; promising technologies for oil and gas conditioning and transportation; problems of production, conditioning and transportation of gas, high-viscosity and highly paraffinic oils.
C. Effective Use of Hydrocarbons. New approaches to refining of hydrocarbon raw materials: oils, natural bitumens and oil shales. Novel methods for chemical processing of gas hydrocarbons. Nonconventional methods for deeper oil processing, new products and materials obtained from oil and hydrocarbon gases.
